Where IPTVEditor does well
It is a good editor, and for some jobs it is the better pick:
- Nothing to install. It runs in the browser, like M3UTool.
- A strong guide (EPG) service: export as .xml or .gzip, choose how many days of guide you keep, and fill gaps with dummy entries.
- Sub-playlists: one main list with custom copies, each with its own access link.
- A low start at €9.90 a year for 3 playlists, if you do not need a guide.
- Up to 40 playlists on its bigger plan. M3UTool stops at 20.
Where M3UTool is different
M3UTool does the editing too, and adds the parts that come after it:

Can I move my IPTVEditor playlists to M3UTool?
Yes. Add your provider login, or the M3U link your current editor gives you. The names, groups, logos and guide ids in that list come with it.
Is M3UTool cheaper than IPTVEditor?
At the very start, no: their Basic plan is €9.90 a year and M3UTool starts at €10. Their plan with a guide starts at €14.90 a year. The €10 M3UTool plan already has the guide, link checks, backup links and the player app, for 1 user and 2 playlists. Prices checked 3 November 2026.
